Trump: The Judas Goat with promises

Candidate Trump, on the campaign trail, promised a cheaper and more inclusive coverage health plan.

His supporters believed this and his other “pie in the sky” demagogic promises.

President Trump then made a 180 degree turn and led the Republican congressional members on May 4 to a “repeal and replace” health plan that abrogated all his “populist” promises, gutting the Affordable Care Act and thereby cutting health care to over 24 million Americans, increasing premiums five-fold on the non-Medicare elderly, slashing Medicaid to the poor, & allowing states to scuttle provisions designed to assist persons with pre-existing conditions.

He then, within 12 hours of the bill’s passage, praised the universal health care coverage in Australia.

The congressional Republicans will be punished in 2018 for their cruel treatment of their constituents.

Unwittingly, (as is his modus operandi), President Trump has become the Judas goat leading the congressional sheep to their slaughter!
