Legislators’ double standard
Your article “State budget pushed through” contains the following from Sen. Dino Rossi, R-Sammamish: “he thinks it is important that there be more transparency surrounding the contract negotiations, which occur in private meetings between the governor’s budget office and worker unions”.
It is ironic that Rossi is perfectly content to have the state Legislature work on the state’s budget until the last possible minute without sharing any of its details with the Legislature’s constituents. He continues the double standard.
