Seniors taxed with no relief

Larry Taylor hit the nail on the head with his letter. The only reason we have all these so called homeless, is because the city managers cater to their every whim. We give them food and have made a playground for them at the city well and even supplied restrooms for them.

Now we are going to build them houses, where does it end? I would like to know what the financial income of these people that want to give all this away.

I am a 80-year-old living in my retirement home that I worked for all my life to build and enjoy and now the the state is taxing me to pay for teachers pay checks. I get no raises in my fixed income and the state keeps taking it away little by little.

You just keep taxing everyone and giving no relief to the senior community that are on fixed incomes. Oh, lets give the homeless pay checks for living on our sidewalks and then we can tax them to pay for the school’s that the state is responsible for.

Wake up lawmakers and start taking care of the paying citizens.
