Become involved in carbon reduction

Looking for a way to help stop the damaging effects of carbon on the environment? Please consider joining People for a Carbon Free Olympia, an affiliate of the Thurston Climate Action Team. Whatever we can do locally will not only benefit our own city, but contribute to the world wide effort to reverse the environmental consequences of carbon emissions. Our city council has made a commitment to pursue this objective, but it will take widespread support by our citizens to make this a reality. There needs to be a commitment of funds, legislative action and the desire by politicians, businesses, and the general public for this to happen. Please consider participating in the call to action through the above mentioned groups as well as any others that can help.
