Lend an ear to issue of pricey corn

I am shopping at several groceries throughout town and find the cost of corn to be as much as 79 cents per ear! This would be bad enough if I had not recently read a national business article about the incredible amount of corn sitting across the country.

They are unable to sell it all and the wholesale prices have plummeted this year. They basically cannot give away much of the massive crop! So where are our politicians who are supposed to protect us from this type of price fixing!
