Amalgam fillings should be banned

As co-chair of Mercury Awareness Team of Washington, and as a registered nurse, I am pleased to report that the European Union is banning mercury amalgam dental filings for children under 15, pregnant women and nursing mothers. We believe the U.S. should move forward with bans on amalgam fillings in compliance with the Minamata International Treaty as the European Union has done.
