Re-elect McGregor for port commissioner
Bill McGregor has 35 years of experience working for Washington ports, and has been an effective port commissioner since 2006. He has supported the Olympia Farmers Market, Lacey and Tumwater re-developments, the airport, cargo diversity at the marine terminal, the Swantown fuel dock and the Port’s Small Cities Program which has helped south county cities. He also has been working on attracting a cruise line to the Port for three years, and starting in 2018 cruise ships will bring tourists to downtown Olympia.
McGregor supports the port’s role of economic development with an emphasis of family wage jobs, while doing so with an eye on environmental stewardship. Bill encouraged the port to conduct the first Greenhouse Gas Inventory and install solar panels on the marine terminal.
Please vote for a strong port and for a strong leader Bill McGregor.
Georgia Roy, Lacey
