McClure the clear choice for port
At Lakefair this summer I happened to cross paths with EJ Zita at the Democratic Party booth. I asked her if she had veteran supporters in her campaign for her reelection at the Port of Olympia. She said that she had some. I asked how that could possibly be, when she herself organized protests to stop military shipments. I told her that most vets don’t agree with her point of view.
When I told her my opinion, she walked away after giving me a look of disgust. She wasn’t happy about speaking to anyone. She gave me a weak handshake and her whole attitude said that she thought she was entitled to the position anyhow and was just there to get the Democratic Party support.
As a registered Democrat and veteran who has recently deployed downrange with shortages of equipment, food and water, I don’t appreciate her stance on veterans and their service. And I highly doubt she has veteran supporters. Why would we service members encourage something that hurts us and our country?
Please give your vote to Gigi McClure, a 21-year veteran and retired Lt. Col. Gigi has a personal interest in supporting service members and families.
