McGregor for Port of Olympia
In 2015 both the Thurston County Chamber and ILWU Local 47 commissioned a survey on how the public viewed the Port of Olympia. Among the findings were the Port is one of the most important economic operations in our community. It also found the Port brings new dollars into our county by operating several trade zones where imported goods can be stored or processed without being subject to import duty - $375 million worth, allowing us to compete in an international market.
Bill McGregor has been contributing to this positive view of the Port in our community and should be re-elected in November. Bill has been extremely active in our Thurston County community including being past president of Lacey Rotary. Bill served four years in the US Coast Guard. Bill and his wife, Barbara, have been very active in the community and have opened up their homes to hundreds of foster children some of which have stayed for many years. .Bills vision for the Port of Olympia is proactive for the future. I encourage you to retain Bill McGregor! Please join me and many others in re-electing Bill McGregor to the Port of Olympia.
