Seahawks give Trump a win

Dear Seahawks,

I admire your decision to take a political stand. But please notice how all this anthem angst has given Trump the win. Once again, he has brilliantly manipulated the media and stolen the conversation. We’re no longer talking about police reform or racial profiling; we’re talking about whether to kneel or stand during the national anthem.

Personally, I don’t care what you do during the anthem. Just make your decision and stick to it. But please get focused. No more 3-hour hand-wringing sessions the night before a game. Because right now, when the whistle blows, you look dazed and confused, you are losing, and tougher hungrier men push you all over the field.
