We are writing in support of the re-election of Milt Harper for South Bay 8 Fire Commissioner. We have known Milt for over ten years and know him to be an excellent leader and listener. He has helped our fire district remarkably as a Commissioner. Milt makes sound decisions based on facts and research while searching for common ground. He has the understanding, knowledge base and management experience essential as a Fire Commissioner.
Milt will continue to help improve the consistency of service and make sure that long term operations in our fire district are cost effective. He supports a strong volunteer leadership program and new career staff opportunities. He also supports restarting the resident firefighter training program.
