Protest is free speech, not disrespect

Enough of the claim that these athletes are disrespecting the flag! They’re exercising their right to protest a civil inequality. At first I didn’t like it and I still wish they could find a better method. But maybe there isn’t one. If the general public could get over this claim of disrespect, maybe their protests would be better heard.

And by the way, I’ve attended many of the games and many, many men do not remove their caps, few people hold their hand to their heart, and conversations can be heard during the entire anthem. You tell me who is disrespecting anything.
