I grew up in Olympia going to our public schools and learned the value of quality public education. Like Scott Clifthorne and his wife, Sarah, my husband and I chose to move back to Olympia to raise our kids in this incredible community. I am an attorney and small business owner and I have the privilege of serving with Sarah on the Executive Board of Directors for SafePlace Olympia. I have watched Scott volunteer as a coach, on a city advisory board, and in our public schools. He is an involved and dedicated parent and community member — exactly the kind of leadership we need on our local school board.
