Legislators and Congress fail to protect and serve

Here in Washington and in the other Washington, the state legislature and the federal congress have lost the art of governing. It just got away from them. Congress and our state legislators have abandoned just to name a few: school funding, immigration reform, universal health care, tax reform, a balanced budget, and environmental protection, and undermined the protection of our national parks and public lands. These are the folks that so wanted to have all the power. And now that they do, they operate like limp noodles without any ability to pass legislation. It is the duty of our Legislators and Congress to protect and serve the American people. Frankly, I’ve grown tired of their ineptness. I would love to see them pass legislation that serves the American people and not their deep-pocket supporters.
