Bill McGregor for Olympia Port Commissioner

Beware of Port of Olympia Commission candidates promising to improve the Port’s financial performance. The devil is in the details, and such details should be requested of these candidates.

The facts are that the Port of Olympia has one of the lowest tax rates of the 72 ports in the state of Washington, and that it has the lowest debt level among the three Western Washington Ports with the same lines of business (marine terminal, airport, marina and rental properties).

Port Commissioner Bill McGregor deserves some credit for the Port’s financial performance and should be re-elected so that it continues. Please vote for him in November.
