What will they say?

What will they say? Those people in the future?

What will they say? They’ll probably be 700 strong. Or 7,000. Certainly not 7 billion.

They’ll live in sealed buildings. On Earth, on Mars. To go outside, they’ll need a complete space suit, as what’s in the air won’t be life sustaining.

What will they say about us? About our leaders? Who wouldn’t give consideration to solving climate change, or over-population, or species extinction. Not even a simple fee and dividend on carbon to make a tiny start down a path to curbing our climate change problems.

What will they say? Could they have any understanding of our inaction?

And when will they say it? The 22nd century? Or the 21st?
