Not admitting does not means innocence

I must give credit to the Republican thought processes which when digging deep into their political spin tanks, have found a way to lend support to Alabama’s Roy Moore. As both President Trump and his puppet spokesperson, Sarah Huckabee contend, “The difference between Senator Al Franken and Roy Moore is, “Franken admitted to his indiscretions and Moore did not.”

Come again? If not admitting to wrong doing is the criteria for establishing one’s innocence, then we have wrongly convicted and jailed millions of Americans since most of them have also maintained their innocence. This type of thinking has obviously been stolen from the church, an organization which contends, “If you can’t disprove the existence of God, then he exists.”
