Be thankful for the Postal Service
Regarding the letter about improving mail delivery: I sympathize with the writer regarding poor delivery, but I have another side to offer: We have a daughter living in the Mideast and she also lived there years ago when she was in the Peace Corps. If you mail a letter, or worse a package, there, the odds are maybe 30 percent that it will make it. A package will be opened and valuables removed if it is forwarded at all.
We are thankful for our USPS, imperfect as it is — as we all are.
