Protect Washington's cannabis business

I just read that U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is planning to allow federal prosecutors to bring charges on legal cannabis businesses in the eight legal states, which include Washington.

Our Senators, Cantwell and Murray, should understand that we need to protect Washington’s legal cannabis businesses. The individuals behind each of these companies are all depending on you, Senators, to protect their rights. We now have thousands of employees in state-licensed facilities that depend on these jobs for their financial security and they need your protection as well.

In the end I believe that only action from Congress can put a leash on the Attorney General’s intent to ruin the lives of thousands of people while bringing harm to the communities that the legal cannabis stores serve. Please take immediate action to defend our state’s right to operate this experiment in democracy.
