I have known Sharon Trask for about 10 years. We found common ground in many areas but I think where Sharon and I connected most was her caring spirit. Every time I volunteered on a community project there she was.
Many of you will see her at forums answering the tough questions or knocking on your door to introduce herself. What you don’t see are the many hours she puts in to help others. Sharon is caring for her mother-In-law with dementia and was there from 1995 on for her father-in-law who was disabled. She does all this while working full-time with the state House of Representatives and helps to run their small business. She is on the board for Turning Pointe and prior to that worked with victims of domestic violence in Arizona.
Sharon Trask is one of my favorite people. Not only is she always there to lend a helping hand, she is honest and upfront. She does not put others down to bring herself up. We all know she is a hard worker but more than that she works smart and puts together teams of people who can accomplish amazing things. I am honored to call her my friend and I am looking forward to seeing her leadership skills in action once again.
