Parks are important for all, including seniors
Parks are important for all ages! I am a 77-year-old widow living on social security and money saved by frugal living. That frugality was possible by our family utilizing public facilities such as libraries, parks and recreational programs.
As I play pickleball with up to 40 seniors at a park most mornings, I see many other seniors walking or biking the trails or accompanying grandchildren to the playground.
Since those facilities were paid for by past generations, I believe it would be very selfish of me not to be willing to pay for them for younger generations.
