Grateful for support of park funding measure
Congratulations to the Tumwater and Lacey city councils for placing parks funding measures on the November ballot. In doing so they are recognizing that parks and recreation facilities are vital to our quality of life. Also that land for parks must be acquired in advance of development.
The proceeds from these measures will allow Tumwater and Lacey to qualify for matching funds, as Olympia’s experience has amply demonstrated.
