Outrage over harassment by OlySol

I am outraged the OlySol (Olympia Solidarity Network) has intimidated businesses into suspending their private security company. Outraged we have allowed this to happen. These are not concerned citizens. Concerned citizens look for ways to help. These OlySol guys are thugs who like to push people around. Why do they wear masks? Remember why the downtown businesses had to hire this security company to begin with. Homeless individuals were blocking the entrances to businesses. They were urinating, defecating and leaving garbage that someone else daily had to clean up. Business owners were looking for a solution.

It sounds like OlySol thinks it is part of someone’s natural ‘right’ to make these messes others have to clean up. I’m sorry, no one has that right. You want individuals to be able to sleep downtown; you take responsibility for the problem. My suspicion is these guys are anarchists, the same guys who like to break windows and cause mayhem at every opportunity. Hence the masks. They have no intention of being responsible for anything. They think they have the right to do whatever they want regardless of how it affects others. Sorry guys you need to go back to Civics class. Civilizations have rules to make them “Civil.”

And because civilizations have rules, the police and city council need to make it clear that this is not allowed! Good grief, we aren’t living in the Wild West. We can’t allow the Dalton Boys to run rough shod over our city. This has to stop!
