Downing brings finance background to port bid

It’s time to pay attention to those running the Port of Olympia, and it is time for some changes. I want to encourage local voters to vote for Joe Downing for commissioner position 1.

I support Joe because he has a strong background in financial management. His resume includes many years of work experience managing and monitoring private and public capital and cash flow. He has a pragmatic perspective on the port’s role of fostering our local economy.

Joe puts a passion into and gives thoughtful consideration to any issue he tackles. He makes intelligent decisions. Joe Downing is going to study an issue or opportunity from a variety of angles, getting the big picture. He listens before he speaks, is warm, considerate and polite; and he gets things done.

Downing has an engaging personal presence that makes him effective one on one or in groups of folks with diverse opinions. Please vote for Joe Downing for Port Commissioner.
