Carbon tax initiative can reduce pollution

We have a very limited time to save ourselves from the sixth great mass extinction of life on earth due to fossil fuel global warming. To do this we must very quickly switch to renewable energy and leave most fossil fuels in the ground.

British Columbia has had a very successful, revenue-neutral carbon tax that has successfully reduced carbon pollution while reducing other taxes that make it revenue neutral.

In Washington state we have initiative I-732, which basically accomplishes the same thing. Please sign I-732 to get this on the 2016 ballot.

I-732 does not conflict with other efforts to save our planet from fossil fuel destruction. While you are at it, sign I-735 to reverse the Citizens United court decision and get corrupt money out of politics.
