Farmer would create jobs in port commission role

There are many good people that run for public office locally – and then there are GREAT people. Jerry Farmer is one of those great people.

I couldn’t be more enthusiastic about supporting someone for office than I am to support Jerry Farmer for Olympia port commissioner. Jerry is a thoughtful, creative and caring community member who would make an excellent public servant. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Farmer over the last 9-plus years and have consistently been impressed with how much he cares about the people and places in Thurston County that make our home special.

When I first met him, I only knew Jerry as that “funny guy” from the radio; as I got to know him I came to understand his strong commitment to the community – and at the heart of that commitment is his genuine concern for people. As port commissioner I know that Jerry will work to both develop the economy and jobs for Thurston County and also protect the environment that we all cherish and rely upon. I trust Farmer’s judgment, believe in his abilities and encourage you to vote for him.
