Everyone should pitch in by reducing water usage

Homeowners are on a restricted watering schedule due to our drought. Consequently, throughout the county you see nothing but brown, crispy lawns.

I was driving through Lacey the other day and noticed three different businesses with their automatic sprinkling systems watering their lawns and in some cases watering the sidewalks too. I think that businesses should be the first ones to be restricted from watering. I know that some businesses water late at night or very early morning so we don’t witness those incidences.

We are all in this together; water is a precious resource.
