Traveler says Olympia homeless marred visit to city, Capitol
In August I was visiting the state Capitol of the great state of Washington and enjoying the beautiful Capitol buildings. I also took a walk around Capitol Lake. From there I went down to Percival Landing and was tired and wanting to sit.
But the landing area with beautiful tables and chairs were all taken with homeless laundry and belongings airing out. I finally found a rock wall near the bathrooms to sit and rest. While shopping downtown I found many more homeless people around Compass Rose and Archibald Sisters. Your homeless and down-and-out citizens need addressing.. I do not care to visit your city again as this is an uncomfortable place to be.
