Hard to believe claims that growth is inevitable

“Growth is inevitable” – really? When the entire world is facing de-growth, where do our leaders expect growth to come from? Industry? Increased retail? Taking in each others’ laundry?

No, I am afraid that the engine for growth predicted by our leaders is growth of the military at JBLM.

Before swallowing projections based upon no facts, merely hopes, let us look at a few facts. The EPA estimates that fossil fuels will be exhausted in 20 years; there are no alternatives currently. Every nation in the world is financially bankrupt. Low-income wage earners are being replaced by machines.

States, counties and cities have reached the limits on borrowing and debts need to be repaid, War will not save us, so what is the engine of growth?

Maybe our leaders would like to share with the voters the information which they have showing a growth pattern.
