Protests of police shooting are getting ahead of facts

Let’s wait to hear the facts before carrying out too many more street demonstrations to demand “justice for Andre and Bryson.”

If their point is that an officer should automatically be charged for shooting minorities regardless of circumstances, the logic isn’t likely to dazzle anybody. If they think they are profound enough to understand the situation before the investigation of the entire incident has been aired they are just biased to the point of being pitiful.

The police investigation is readily available online but, so far, the “victims’ “ account hasn’t been published. When it is, we can all draw our own conclusions, as will the criminal justice system. Hopefully, we can do that without blocking traffic and waving signs while we infringe on the right of others to use public streets.

The “We Want Revenge” sign was especially infantile. I sincerely hope those who were inconvenienced by this ridiculous demonstration are too mature and intelligent to want revenge. Having said that, kudos to Olympia PD for the way they handled it.
