The two men shot by police should stand trial

I hope that the legal system does not drop the assault charges against the two individuals shot by Officer Donald. From what has been reported in the local media, we never really heard their version of what happened that night. I am interested to hear their defense in court.

If there are those in our community that are calling for the officer and prosecutor to resign or be fired, I think it only fair we hear from the two men what their version of the story is.

For instance, it would be helpful to know their thoughts on their actions at the Safeway that night, I have only seen the one stealing a watermelon and throwing the beer at an employee.

What I saw on the news when they showed the actual footage has to be out of context and I am positive there is a logical explanation for their actions. Secondly, I am sure they have some forensic evidence that supports their case, that shows they were complying with the officer and he shot them when he saw they were black.

They couldn't have been attempting to assault him with their skateboards, right? The only logical conclusion one can make if calling for the officer and prosecutor to be fired is they are both racist and covering this up.

So as a concerned citizen I say bring on the court case and let the real criminal(s) in this matter pay the highest price!
