Olympia council needs Judy Bardin's perspective

We are writing to extend our support for Judy Bardin, candidate for Olympia City Council. As a respected environmental public health epidemiologist, Judy has worked with people from various agencies, statewide and at the national level, on pesticide illness, cancer, and air quality. Her work has significantly enhanced the quality of life in Washington.

Judy Bardin brings insight and skills, not only as an epidemiologist, but also from her healthcare experience as a registered nurse. We are enthusiastic about her chance to serve her community as a council member. Those who have worked with Judy, in a variety of capacities, know she is passionate about health, the environment, and fairness.

In her tenure on the city’s Utility Advisory Committee, Judy learned invaluable information about the inner-workings of the drinking water, waste water, storm water and waste management utilities. She also served on the Planning Commission during which the city’s 20-year comprehensive plan was updated.

If elected, Bardin would bring this knowledge and experience to the table as a team player and problem solver. She would contribute her perspective as a scientist and member of the community who listens and takes seriously the responsibility of serving the public. Please vote for her in the upcoming election.
