Selby is right option for mayor of Olympia

Like many people, a major factor in our decision to call Olympia home was the belief that it is a great place to raise a family.

We grew up in west Olympia, live in east Olympia and have had the opportunity to see all of the city and how it has evolved over the years. Now with three kids of our own it is hard not to think about the community we grew up in and how we will leave it for our kids and grandkids.

We need city leaders who look to the future and plan for the long haul to ensure Olympia is a great city for generations to come. These are the values that we hear every time we speak with Cheryl Selby.

Cheryl understands the need for smart planning to preserve and enhance the quality of life for everyone in Olympia. She makes decisions not only based on what works today, but what will work 20 years from now. She strives to understand every side of an issue and reaches out to community members for their expertise. She balances realism and optimism to keep Olympia headed in the right direction and brings the humility and confidence that we need in a Mayor.
