Support Joellen Wilhelm for Olympia school board

I am writing in support of Joellen Wilhelm who is a candidate for the Olympia school board.

I have known Joellen for over eight years. She is smart, a hard worker, and an amazing parent.

Joellen is committed to positive change in Olympia. She has demonstrated this consistently with her work in the community including: direct volunteerism in local schools (Eastside Cooperative Preschool and Madison Elementary School); serving as a board member of the Downtown YMCA, working on local policy (she was named 2014 policy volunteer of the year); and regular attendance of Olympia School District board meetings. Her breadth of experience will bring a unique perspective to the board.

Her professional experience includes grant writing and organizational consulting, development coordinator at GRuB, an MPA from Evergreen and Peace Corps service in Macedonia.

I trust her to make good decisions for our community. Please give her your consideration when you vote.
