Cheryl Selby would make excellent Olympia mayor

Cheryl Selby will be a fantastic mayor. I first met Cheryl three years ago and was impressed with her leadership. Cheryl is eager to learn, ready to listen, and highly effective at finding common ground among people who hold differing views.

Cheryl is committed to growing the downtown economy, improving social services, ending homelessness, and protecting the environment. She is also adept at fostering collaboration among unlikely partners. Her enthusiasm for solving problems is infectious.

Cheryl helped to win widespread support from the business community for high-impact housing programs that address homelessness. She has strong working relationships with smart-growth advocates as well as developers. Cheryl has the vision and collaborative spirit to tackle some of the most complex and challenging issues that we face as a community.

Cheryl’s thoughtful, collaborative approach to problem solving is exactly the kind of leadership we need at City Hall.
