Judy Bardin would bring integrity to City Council

What qualities do you look for when deciding which candidates to vote for? For me, the two most important characteristics are integrity and a sincere desire to serve our community. I define integrity here as “walking one’s talk.”

I look for someone who, when he or she speaks, I am confident that they are the same person regardless of the person or group they are speaking with. My preferred candidates also demonstrate a sincere desire for public service.

Judy Bardin has demonstrated both of these qualities since I’ve known her from when we both worked at the Washington Department of Health.

Intelligent, genuine, and compassionate are a few more words I use to describe her. I have enormous respect for the stand she took in 2014 in favor of open and transparent government. Judy’s personal attributes and her academic credentials (doctorate focused in epidemiology), when added to her considerable experience in city government via the Olympia Planning Commission, mean she’ll be a great asset.

Keep Olympia strong – vote for Bardin for City Council.
