Common sense gun legislation has limits

Reading Michael Gerson’s column (Oct. 8) reminded me that no amount of so-called sensible gun legislation will stop a determined or troubled individual from obtaining some sort of gun or other weapon and killing as many people he/she wants.

We have only to look at Norway a couple years back where 77 people were killed and I believe the perp only got 21 years incarceration. I believe that Norway has almost as strict gun laws as Great Britain. Think about it.
