Joellen Wilhelm is for our community

Joellen Wilhelm is running for Olympia’s students, for our families, and for the community as a whole. This is not a school board campaign about who is against whom. It is entirely about who is for FOR what, and the impact on Olympia now and in the future. This is what I know to be true about Joellen Wilhelm:

Joellen Wilhelm is a community connector. She naturally builds relationships with the people she meets. This ease and genuine interest in those around her builds trust and builds community. We all thrive when we feel safe, seen and heard.

Joellen Wilhelm listens. She has an open heart, open eyes, and open ears to hear all perspectives. With this ability, she is predisposed to collaboration and building a shared vision for a shared outcome. We all improve our quality of life when we work together to solve tough problems.

Joellen Wilhelm is an advocate for all children. She believes in every child’s potential. She knows that opportunities for growth and success are our shared duty and commitment to the children of our community. We shape our own and our community’s future by giving children the opportunity and support to be their best.

Personally, I am not interested in what or who someone is against. I am interested in what they are forFOR. I value community, listening, creating shared outcomes, and advocating for children. Joellen Wilhelm has my vote. Consider giving her yours as well.
