Joellen Wilhelm is great choice for school board
I am writing in support of Joellen Wilhelm, a highly qualified candidate for the Olympia School District Board of Directors.
Joellen is an intelligent, energetic leader in our community. She volunteers her time at important organizations such as the Downtown YMCA; where she was named 2014 Policy Volunteer of the Year. She is also a committed parent of a Madison student and would bring a unique voice to the Board. Her professional experience includes: grant writing and organizational consulting, Development Coordinator at GRuB, an MPA from Evergreen and Peace Corps service in Macedonia.
I am continually impressed by Joellen’s commitment to improving our community. She is a fantastic listener and would bring a collaborative and thoughtful approach to the complex issues facing the Board. She demonstrated her diligent work effort by visiting all 19 of our district schools to hear their concerns and she regularly attends board meetings. She knows we have great schools and dedicated teachers and she will ask important questions which reflect the perspectives of the community.
Please give Joellen your consideration when you vote.
