For future parks, vote yes on Prop. 1

Olympians who want to ensure a livable future should vote Yes on Proposition 1.

Our parks help make Olympia a great place to live. They contribute to our health and environment, increase property values, and build community. Our region is growing fast, and we need to protect Olympia’s quality of life with smart land use decisions.

Proposition 1 will ensure transparency and accountability about parks spending. It leaves an option for a regional parks system, and could even help move us in that direction. In the meantime, it will provide secure funding for maintenance, and allow us to preserve irreplaceable open space from development.

The way we vote today will impact generations to come. For a vibrant future Olympia, vote Yes on Proposition 1!
