Economic fairness is good reason to support Sanders

We have a historic opportunity in 2016 to build on FDR’s legacy by scrapping the cap on Social Security and taxing people who earn over $130,000 who pay nothing now and saving everyone money by expanding Medicare to all.

The dysfunction of Congress could be overcome by electing Bernie Sanders who has been non-partisan his whole life and believes democratic socialism means the rich should pay their fair share in taxes and unions and workers cooperatives keep people out of poverty and homelessness.

Taxing the wealthy possibly by capital gains taxing is only fair and ending poverty is possible by doing this. Scare tactics by right wingers equate democratic socialism with a government dictatorship like Russia or China but all types of jobs and businesses are successful in places like Sweden and Denmark.

Our country can become more equal and healthy by having everyone share in taxes and having jobs and higher wages for all and free college tuition increases our competitive edge in world trade and more creative solutions to climate change may result.

Only Bernie Sanders has the solid background in civil rights and economics and backbone to lead for an economically fair future. Also if CEOs believed in fairness more immigrants could have jobs and fair taxes would allow more small businesses to prosper with everyone making higher wages.
