There were poppieson Veterans Day

I had to respond to Kathryn Ashe’s letter (Nov. 16. I was pleased to buy my poppy at Haggen’s on Veterans Day.

Dear friends were selling the poppies. So thank goodness poppies were being sold.

Thank you to all who have served our country and to those serving today.
