The Nisqually Wild Life Refuge is beautiful in any weather
Thank you to the Nisqually Tribe, Ducks Unlimited, and whom ever else played a role with the remodel of the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge. Yes, it’s old news but it’s a relaxing visit.
The refuge provides flat ground which is convent for wheelchair access and beginner hikes.
Expect to at least see frogs, owls, deer, garner snakes, crabs, rabbits. Oh and every walker I’ve come across shares a friendly smile and “Hello.”
I’ve spent hours walking with friends and family talking about life.
It’s a great way to relax the mind and catch up on memories and the future with special people.
If you haven’t seen it yet or craving a taste of fresh air and the Nisqually Wildlife Regure will fix that.
Oh, be sure to bring a camera, water, and considering the weather change, a rain coat and warm layers.
