Politico poor basis for wirestory on Ben Carson claims

The front page of The Olympian carried this (Nov. 7) headline , “Carson Lied About West Point.”

Carson in his book said he was told based on his test scores and background he would have a scholarship (maybe not the right word since West Point is free but a word that conveyed to readers he could have gone there but certainly not a lie).
