Thanksgiving Letters

I am so thankful for the Good Samaritan lady who recently rescued our dearly-loved dog from sure death on the on-ramp to northbound Interstate 5 at East Martin Way.

Parked at a restaurant, I opened the car door and our little dog jumped out, ran across the freeway off-ramp and up the nearby ramp to northbound I-5. As I gave chase, Cory the dog soon outdistanced me. Then a woman called out, “What’s her name?”

That wonderful lady ran past me, caught up to our dog and returned her to a breathless, badly-shaken me. Thank you many times over!
