Grateful for the educational family

Two weeks ago while subbing at Capital, my husband suffered a major heart attack.

I had loaned him my car and had no transportation. No problem for the principal's administrative assistant, Liz. She loaded me up in her car, called Saint Peter's Hospital, called my son at work, and delivered me safely to where I needed to be. The only thing she wanted was a phone call letting her know how my husband was recuperating.

He is doing well and my family has much to be grateful for this year. I am truly blessed to work with educators. Our children and our future are in the very best of hands. Happy Thanksgiving to all of the staff at Capital High School!
