Terrorist scorecard needs an update
I guess the Dec. 4 editorial page went to print before the San Bernardino shooters were ID'd as radicalized Muslims. How else do you explain the pitiful cartoon that mocks people that warn of terrorist attacks in this country two days after just such an attack?
Jim in Tumwater will have to submit a new "terrorist scorecard" letter to ridicule those that want to hold off on letting potential shooters into this country. Hold off until we get assurances from our top intel folks that ISIS will not be able to succeed in their stated goal of using the Syrian immigrant crisis to infiltrate the US.
But since our president is not worried about this scenario and we are powerless to stop him, I ask those that support him one simple question: "What if ISIS succeeds?"
If a refugee admitted to the U.S. turns out to be a terrorist that commits a deadly attack on U.S. soil, what should the punishment be for those that allowed it to happen? Answer that, Jim.
