No deterrent in view for terrorism

Is it time to do something about shootings? Might as well ban Muslims as guns.

In both cases we’re talking about a small minority as the problem. Almost every terrorist action in the U.S. has been radical Muslims.

But I don’t think this is the solution. Maybe we ought to start by enforcing the laws, and I certainly don’t blame the police for this.

The only thing radicals and criminals fear is death and pain, and our justice system gives them neither, even when the bad guys are captured by police.

So, we all better get used to crime and terrorism, because there’s no deterrent in sight.
