New ideas needed for gun registration
Dear Congress: Every week it seems we have another mass shooting and every week I hear “our thoughts and prayers go out.” Please tell me you have a thought or idea how to stop it.
You are all college educated and some of you have fancy letters after your name. Well, I never got through high schools, but I have an idea. What if you had to have insurance to buy a gun or a bullet? You have to have insurance to buy and drive a car. Tell me one company that will sell you a house without insurance. Let the insurance companies decide the cost. They are pretty good at that. They have college degrees, some with letters after their names. The government decides the penalty. The free market system.
Please tell me you have a thought. If not let me say the prayer: “Dear God, please forgive us, for doing nothing when we could. Amen.”
