Who are Trump's backers afraid of?

Who are cheering on Donald Trump’s extreme, unconstitutional anti-Muslim campaign rhetoric? Xenophobes suspicious of foreigners? People who believe their version of their religion is the only true religion and feel entitled to impose it on others?

People who prize their weapons? People who are intolerant of others who don’t look like them, think like them or share their values? People who don’t like our government?

People who are afraid of other people an awful lot like themselves?
